[Remote] Loan Officer Assistant

The Loan Officer Assistant provides vital support to mortgage loan officers by ensuring a positive customer experience and facilitating timely loan closings.ResponsibilitiesAssist in reviewing mortgage loan application and documentation, which may include phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, overnighting documents, etcReview mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrowerCreate rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrowerReview documents and entire loan files and work to prevent problems by highlighting deficiencies and then notifying the mortgage loan officer and/or loan processorClarify/correct information and obtain additional information, as necessary, via phone, email, etcGeneral clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors, as neededWork with management to provide support in various stages and areas of lending and processing as neededAssist in managing a pipeline consisting of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, along with 203K and reverse mortgage productsDeliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieve proof of receiptTrack outstanding items on all loan files and follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentationFacilitate timely loan closings by working directly with the Title Company and customer to scheduleSkillsHigh School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalentA minimum of 1 year of mortgage-related experience, including customer contactExcellent communication and customer service skillsExcellent prioritization and time management skillsProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsPrevious sales support experienceSalesforce experienceFluency in the languages of Spanish and EnglishBenefitsMedicalDentalVision401KCompany-provided short-term disabilityEmployee assistance programWellness programCompany OverviewBack in 2003, our founder and CEO, Ron Leonhardt, started CrossCountry Mortgage with one goal: become a nationwide mortgage lender that helps people with clear and fast home loans.
