Home Health NY is a New York State-certified mental health clinic providing Medicaid-funded emotional support services to individuals across the state at no cost to them. Our model is built around short, consistent telehealth check-ins that help clients stay stable, engaged, and connected to care.
We focus on practical, real-world support rather than traditional long-form therapy. Success in this role is less about advanced clinical technique and more about being personable, engaging, and reliable on the phone. We look for clinicians who are motivated, communicate well, and can build quick rapport with a wide range of clients.
MSWs, MHCs, and graduating students are encouraged to apply. We may also have internship opportunities available.
Role Description
This is a part-time, fully remote position for LMSWs, LCSWs, LMHCs, or LMFTs providing brief, phone-based support sessions.
Sessions are typically short (around 15 minutes) and focus on emotional support, check-ins, and helping clients stay on track with their goals. This is not traditional hour-long therapy. Clinicians are responsible for outreach, completing scheduled calls, and documenting each interaction.
At baseline (around 40 completed sessions per week), the role typically requires about 10–15 hours weekly, with flexibility in scheduling.
Qualifications
• LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT (New York State)
• Strong phone presence and ability to quickly build rapport
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage consistent outreach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, volume-based environment
• Basic documentation skills and comfort with telehealth platforms
Preferred but not required:
• Bilingual abilities
