Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) professional to join our team on a full-time, remote contract basis. As an LCA Analyst, you will work closely with our client, a global leader in sustainability, to contribute to high-impact projects and drive environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive life cycle assessments (LCA) for sustainability projects across various industries, analyzing operational and supply chain data to inform strategic decisions.
Develop and maintain detailed LCA models, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and methodologies, including ISO 14040, 14044, and ILCD.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, data science, and software development, to drive and implement sustainability initiatives.
Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impacts, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Masters or PhD in industrial ecology, environmental engineering, or a sustainability-related field. A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience will also be considered.
Expertise in computational LCA, including co-product allocation, data normalization, and impact computations.
Proven experience in life cycle inventory development and data collection methods.
Strong experience with LCA impact assessment methods, including spatially explicit models.
Excellent problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Nice to Have:

Project management experience or training.
Experience with hybrid LCA models.
Knowledge of life cycle inventory database development and maintenance.
Familiarity with GIS and spatial analytics.
Programming experience (R, Python, SQL).
Data visualization skills (e.g., PowerBI).
