[Remote] Lead Healthcare Data Analyst - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sentara Health is hiring for a Lead Healthcare Data Analyst who will provide data analysis support by developing reports and dashboards to monitor program performance. This role involves promoting self-service analytics, supporting data quality, and offering data-driven recommendations to business partners.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Provides data analysis support to the customer by assisting with the development of reports and/or dashboards to monitor program and operational performance
ā¢ Promotes self-service analytics for customer adoption, understanding and use of data
ā¢ Supports design of programmatic analyses and reporting capabilities in addition to business requirement definition for new analyses
ā¢ Performs ad-hoc analysis as directed
ā¢ Supports data quality and data stewardship functions to maintain data accuracy and identify new metrics
ā¢ Uses analytic skills to offer data-driven conclusions and recommendations to business partners
ā¢ Works directly with internal customers and external provider partners
ā¢ On-boarding new team members
ā¢ Providing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts
ā¢ Oversee project work from inception to delivery
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's Degree (Required)
ā¢ 5 years of experience in Data Analysis (Required)
ā¢ Experience in statistics, population management & financial analysis
ā¢ Knowledge of SQL and Tableau
ā¢ Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
ā¢ Problem Solving
ā¢ Consultative Engagement Skills
