Our client, a cutting-edge innovator in the decentralized technology space, is seeking an exceptional Remote Lead Blockchain Developer to spearhead the development of sophisticated smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). This fully remote position allows you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within the US, working with a globally distributed team of talented engineers and product visionaries. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our blockchain solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency. We are looking for a visionary leader with a deep understanding of blockchain protocols and a passion for building robust, secure decentralized systems.

Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of secure and efficient smart contracts on various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Polygon). Develop and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) and related backend infrastructure. Architect robust and scalable blockchain solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices for security and performance. Conduct thorough code reviews, identify potential vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies for smart contracts and dApps. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into functional blockchain solutions. Stay ahead of the curve on emerging blockchain technologies, protocols, and industry trends. Mentor and guide junior blockchain developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. Contribute to the development of technical roadmaps and strategic planning for blockchain initiatives. Ensure the reliability and security of deployed smart contracts and dApps through comprehensive testing and monitoring. Document technical specifications, architectural decisions, and development processes. Engage with the broader blockchain community, contributing to open-source projects where applicable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused specifically on blockchain development and smart contract engineering. Proficiency in smart contract development languages such as Solidity, Rust, or Vyper. Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles. Experience with major blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Solana). Familiarity with Web3 libraries and tools (e.g., Web3.js, Ethers.js, Hardhat, Truffle). Strong knowledge of decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts and protocols is highly desirable. Experience with backend development and API integration. Proven ability to design and implement secure and efficient smart contract architectures. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong leadership qualities and experience mentoring development teams. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment. Contributions to public blockchain projects or demonstrable open-source work are a significant plus.
