The Opportunity As a K-12 Connect Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-dosage, personalized tutoring to students in grades K-12. Working in a virtual setting with a 1:1 or 1:2 tutor-student ratio, you will build strong connections with students and help them succeed in school. Our framework provides the structure and support you need to make a meaningful impact. Plus, you'll receive ongoing paid training, development, and support to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, personalized tutoring to students in grades K-12 in subjects such as reading (1st-9th grade), math (1st-9th grade), and high school academic mentoring. Build close relationships with students to understand their needs and provide tailored support. Utilize our provided framework to deliver effective tutoring sessions. Participate in ongoing paid training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge. Engage with students, parents, and educators to foster a supportive learning environment. Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring strategies as needed. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: Be enrolled in a degree program at SNHU and have Federal Work Study as part of your financial aid package. Have completed at least 12 college course credits. Possess a reliable computer with a working webcam, microphone, speakers, and a stable internet connection. Be eligible to work in the USA. Be willing to complete a background check at the time of hiring. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Previous experience in tutoring or mentoring students. Strong knowledge in the subject area(s) you'll be tutoring. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexibly with students across different grade levels and learning styles.
