[Remote] Knowledge & Curation Specialist

They are seeking a Knowledge & Curation Specialist to help organize and present the legal technology market, ensuring high-quality listings and maintaining clarity in a complex ecosystem.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Create and update legal technology listings based on vendor submissions, internal research, and market developments
ā¢ Apply professional judgment to classify vendors and products within our taxonomy, flag edge cases, and contribute to ongoing refinement of categories as the market evolves
ā¢ Execute structured updates while maintaining consistency with quality standards and classification frameworks
ā¢ Support intake and first-pass execution for new listings and portal requests
ā¢ Respond to vendor questions and follow-ups as assigned
ā¢ Support vendor-driven updates, ensuring submissions are complete, accurate, and ready for QA review
ā¢ Coordinate asynchronous handoffs across team members in different time zones
ā¢ Track funding announcements, mergers and acquisitions, and company updates across the legal technology ecosystem
ā¢ Flag developments that require directory updates or deeper review
ā¢ Contribute to lightweight vendor and product analysis when needed
ā¢ Own work end-to-end, following defined handoff and review processes
ā¢ Apply feedback consistently to improve future outputs
ā¢ Maintain clear documentation around status, blockers, and completed work
ā¢ Contribute ideas over time to improve taxonomy, workflows, and quality standards
Skills
ā¢ 2ā5+ years of relevant experience in legal librarianship, knowledge management, legal research, legal technology, or adjacent structured information roles
ā¢ Familiarity with legal technology products, vendors, or the broader legal services ecosystem
ā¢ Experience working with structured data, directories, portals, or content systems is a strong plus
ā¢ Exceptionally strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured standards and classification systems
ā¢ Sound judgment when interpreting vendor materials, product claims, and market signals
ā¢ Ability to manage multiple workstreams without sacrificing accuracy or consistency
ā¢ Clear written communication skills and comfort working asynchronously in a remote environment
ā¢ Self-directed and reliable, with a strong sense of ownership over outcomes
ā¢ Enjoys working with complex information and bringing clarity through organization and structure
