[Remote] Junior Interactive Technologist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zero Studios is a creative studio based in NYC that focuses on providing value and service to clients through multidisciplinary teams. The Junior Interactive Technologist will be involved in coding and debugging tasks while working closely with the team to implement web solutions, contributing to projects, and refining skills with mentorship. Responsibilities Approach every project with a clear purpose and ensure all executions meet business and user goals (performance, conversion, overall quality) Take a detail-oriented approach with project planning and development Utilize collaborative process with the design team to finesse the interaction model of the site Consider accessibility, and SEO best-practices when developing templates Address technical challenges and constraints with an open mind, exploring what's possible Work with small-to-medium, multi-disciplinary teams toward the common goal of executing on-brief strategic goals Keep each project/site organized, over communicate, avoid assumptions, and forecast risks to provide a plan of action to ensure both design and client expectations are met and ideally exceeded Carry an intrinsic motivation toward key aspects of the role and importance of process and collaboration Skills Proficient knowledge of Front-End core languages a requirement (HTML, CSS, ES6+ JavaScript) Experience in Svelte/SvelteKit or similar (NextJs, Nuxt) Familiarity with Vercel or other similar cloud hosting platforms Understanding of working with/developing APIs (GraphQL, REST) Familiarity with SCSS/Tailwind 1-3 years of experience building web projects Ecommerce (Shopify) and Agency experience are preferred Benefits Multiple medical plans with up to 80% of premiums covered by Zero Multiple dental plans fully covered by Zero Three weeks (15 days) vacation Seven days of paid sick time Twelve paid holidays Paid holiday break between Christmas and New Years Short Term Disability Insurance 401(k) with match after (3) months of full-time regular employment Charitable Match & Employee Milestone Programs Commuter Benefits Additional benefits are available with details provided upon request or during onboarding Company Overview Zero is a creative studio specialize in building brands & digital experiences.
