[Remote] Jr. Staff Accountant (* 2 REMOTE & 3 days In-office * Doral) $55,000-$65,000

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Robert Half is seeking a Jr. or Staff Accountant to join their team in Doral. The role involves performing accounts payable tasks, ensuring accurate transaction recording, and providing financial data analysis.

Responsibilities
• AP and ensures transaction are recorded accurately
• Journal entries postings
• Reviews general ledger
• Performs bank reconciliations
• Account reconciliations
• Accruals
• Compiles financials for month end close
• Provides analysis of financial data including variances and profit and loss reports
• Maintains other financial data in Excel spreadsheets using (vlook-up, pivot tables) and ERP software (training available)

Skills
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to ensure transactions are recorded accurately
• Experience with journal entries postings
• Ability to review general ledger
• Experience performing bank reconciliations
• Experience with account reconciliations
• Knowledge of accruals
• Ability to compile financials for month end close
• Ability to provide analysis of financial data including variances and profit and loss reports
• Proficiency in maintaining financial data in Excel spreadsheets using vlook-up and pivot tables
• Familiarity with ERP software
