[Remote] IT Enterprise Applications Architect - Salesforce - Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

The IT Enterprise Applications Architect will work at the forefront of Information Technology and Information Security, focusing on optimizing business processes and managing multiple initiatives in a technology-centric environment. Responsibilities • Maintain working knowledge of sales, service and financial business processes and how current application stack supports them • Work with Business Analysts to gather, analyze and articulate high-level business and technology capabilities & requirements • Identify correlated requests to organize into streamlined efforts to maximize return • Provide guidance to delivery teams and business units as needed • Develop, maintain, and adhere to IT best practices, including but not limited to security, naming conventions and vendor recommended configurations • Maintain technical architecture diagrams including but not limited to system interface diagrams, entity relationship maps and data flow diagrams • Manage workload and communicates progress, expectations and issues to management and stakeholders in a consistent and timely manner • Support the creation of strategic roadmaps that sequence technology initiatives based on business priorities and technical dependencies, aligning to the overall enterprise strategy • Define architectural standards to promote standardization across the enterprise application stack • Establish relationships with key delivery team SMEs to drive collaboration and innovation • Be willing to seek out expert guidance and knowledge through various outlets including but not limited to the application communities, peers, support organizations, partners, and leading industry experts • Other duties as assigned Skills • Possess strong technical-facing written/verbal communication skills • Experience documenting, driving standardization and optimizing business processes with an emphasis on sales and finance business processes • Expert understanding of the Salesforce platform including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ • Expert understanding of the NetSuite or similar ERP platform including accounting, order management and procurement • Experience with cloud based and modern user interface (UI) tools and technologies • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail • Knowledge of designing solutions in a secure, growth-oriented environment • Experience working on an international scale is a plus • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience • 10+ years of experience working with sales and financial platforms • 5+ years working with middleware applications to facilitate automation • 5+ years working with BI/Analytics platforms • Certifications and or experience in one or more of the following: Salesforce, NetSuite, Domo Benefits • Remote workforce primarily (U.S. based only, some travel may be required for certain positions, working on-site may be required for Federal positions) • Group Medical Insurance options: Zero Deductible PPO Plan (GuidePoint pays 90% of the premium for employees and 70% for family plans (spouse/children/family) or High Deductible Health Plan with HSA (GuidePoint pays 100% of the employees premiums and 75% for family plans (spouse/children/family) and GPS will contribute in one lump sum: ($500 per EE annually / $1000 per family annually (includes spouse/children/family options) • Group Dental Insurance: GuidePoint pays 100% of the premium for employees and 75% of family plans • 12 corporate holidays and a Flexible Time Off (FTO) program • Healthy mobile phone and home internet allowance • Eligibility for retirement plan after 2 months at open enrollment • Pet Benefit Option Company Overview • GuidePoint Security provides customized, innovative & valuable Information Security solutions that enable commercial federal organizations.
