They are seeking a hospitality-oriented IT Coordinator responsible for troubleshooting and repairing issues related to home and business users' technology, setting up new computer systems, and assisting the IT Director with various IT tasks. Responsibilities Troubleshooting and repairing home users’ issues with Windows, Mac, iOS, & Android operating systems and software/apps Installing, troubleshooting, & repairing home users desktops, laptops, printers, phones, routers, etc Setting up AV equipment for meetings & activities Setting up new computer systems and performing routine maintenance Assisting staff with computer issues Assisting the IT Director with the following duties: Maintaining & troubleshooting business phone system, server, network infrastructure, security cameras Troubleshooting and repairing business users’ issues with Windows operating system and software Configuring, installing, troubleshooting, & repairing business users’ desktops, laptops, printers, phones, etc Skills A desire to make a difference in the lives of seniors High school graduate or GED equivalent required Excellent computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets Ability to read and understand technical manuals Strong understanding of Windows, Mac, iOS, & Android operating systems and software/apps Must have the ability to learn, support and troubleshoot new/existing computer hardware and software, operating systems, phone systems, and other electronic systems at the community. They are responsible for taking the initiative to continually grow their knowledge base Must be at least 17 years of age All candidates will be required to pass a drug screen and background investigation Must be able to move throughout the building and grounds as needed throughout the day Must be able to bend, squat, crawl to access equipment Moderate to heavy physical and mental effort May be exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain, snow) Work in areas with high voltage electricity, hazardous equipment and moving parts Ability to set up and climb ladders safely with tools and equipment necessary for assigned work Formal trade school or continuing education in the information technology (IT) discipline preferred Benefits Opportunities for scholarship and annual bonus.
