The role involves providing real-time interpretation between English and Cantonese across various sectors while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
Responsibilities
• Provide real-time interpretation via phone or video between English and another language
• Ensure accurate, neutral, and culturally sensitive communication between speakers
• Handle calls across various sectors such as Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Travel, Law Enforcement, and more
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy in all interactions
Skills
• Bilingual proficiency (English at B2 CEFR level or higher + Cantonese)
• Strong listening, note-taking, and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm, objective, and neutral during conversations
• High attention to detail and ability to follow client instructions
• Must be able to work from home permanently
