We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Adjunct Faculty member to teach in our Animation and Visual Effects (ANFX) program. About the Role:
As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will employ a variety of strategies to foster student artistic development, learning, and discussions. You will teach studio, lecture, and/or practicum courses, plan and provide instructional experiences, and evaluate student achievement of curricular objectives/outcomes. Your expertise will help shape the future of digital media, and your passion will inspire students to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Teach required number of credit hours per quarter based on contract
Plan and provide instructional experiences that reflect an understanding of the philosophy, objectives, and curriculum of the program
Evaluate student achievement of curricular objectives/outcomes
Maintain communication with the program director regarding any course or student issues
Perform other similar duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Animation, Digital Media, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 2 years of teaching or professional experience
Strong understanding of industry-standard software and hardware technologies, such as Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Adobe Suite, Unreal Engine, and more
