As an Intake Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our clients, handling inbound calls, and ensuring seamless communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants, responding to incoming calls and accurately entering information into various systems
Navigate multiple systems to access relevant information, providing timely and effective solutions to customers
Determine follow-up protocols, ensuring efficient and timely resolution of customer inquiries
De-escalate upset callers, providing empathetic and professional support to ensure customer satisfaction
Perform additional duties within the department as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Requirements and Qualifications:
Preferred call center experience with inbound call handling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and type information efficiently and accurately
Strong listening and empathy skills, with the ability to navigate multiple programs simultaneously
Accurate keyboarding skills, with a typing speed of 25 wpm or more
Detail-oriented, with problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy and handle stressful situations
Bilingual in English and/or Spanish (highly desirable)
High School Diploma or GED required
