Our client is an established nationally ranked general contractor that focuses on all different market sectors. They have a phenomenal reputations among their peers, clients, and subcontractors throughout the market. They have a strong backlog of projects in their pipeline through 2026. They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their growing team! They are working in various project sectors such as commercial, healthcare, entertainment, corporate interiors, higher education, multifamily, light industrial and various other projects.
Job Description
ā¢ Overseeing and directing projects from start to finish
ā¢ Directs and supervises work of project administration staff and construction engineers, as well as works in partnership with project superintendents to establish operational priorities
ā¢ Responsible for forecasting, tracking/reporting project costs/revenue and adherence to project estimates
ā¢ Responsible for problem resolution involving labor disputes, staffing, construction materials, construction equipment and contracts/subcontracts administration
ā¢ Coordinates with construction Safety Manager to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with established safety goals
ā¢ Develop strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers
ā¢ Maintain appropriate documentation through project such as RFI logs and change orders

The Successful Applicant
ā¢ Bachelor's Degree preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
ā¢ 8+ years of experience overseeing construction projects from start to finish
ā¢ Experience managing mid to large scale project teams
ā¢ Ability to run projects through full cycle time line.
ā¢ Knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, concrete work, masonry, site excavation, plumbing, grading, fire protection, HVAC and electrical.
ā¢ Working knowledge of construction technology and details.
ā¢ Must be proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documentation including drawings and specifications.
ā¢ Excellent communication and written skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
