Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients in moderately complex civil litigation and workers' compensation matters. You will manage the entire legal process, from investigation and discovery through trial preparation and court proceedings, and collaborate with claims representatives and insured clients to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in depositions, site inspections, court hearings, trials, and other proceedings
Research and develop legal strategies for all stages of litigation, sharing them with claims representatives and insured clients
Develop and render clear, unambiguous legal opinions and strategies, drafting legal documents, including pleadings and motions
Establish and maintain good relationships with claims representatives and insured clients
Requirements:
Juris Doctor degree and licensure to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Familiarity with the latest developments in the practice of law and related fields
Knowledge of insurance law is a plus
Proficiency in technologies that reduce costs and facilitate remote work
