Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in Louisiana
Provide much-needed educational support to DHH students in rural or underserved areas via virtual teaching platforms. Work closely with families to ensure equity in access to education and related services.

Responsibilities:
ā¢ Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
ā¢ Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
ā¢ Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
ā¢ Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
ā¢ Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
Qualifications:
ā¢ Master's degree in a related field
ā¢ Current LouisianaTeaching Certification
ā¢ Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
ā¢ Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
ā¢ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
ā¢ Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
ā¢ No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
Highlights:
ā¢ 1099 Position
ā¢ Guaranteed Weekly Hours
ā¢ Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours (dependent on contractor experience/district budget)
ā¢ School hours
ā¢ Clinical/Technical Team on standby
Use the artsvisual, performance, and mediato enhance learning and self-expression among DHH students in a virtual environment. Incorporate ASL storytelling, drama, and digital arts into daily instruction.
A background in arts education or creative instructional strategies is highly valued.
