[Remote] Inside Sales Engineer - HVAC/R International

The Inside Sales Engineer will support sales operations by managing inquiries, collaborating with Sales Engineers, and providing technical advice throughout the sales process.ResponsibilitiesServe as a technical advisor and product expert throughout the HVAC sales processCollaborate with Sales Engineers and customers to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate solutionsUtilize selection software and technical tools to identify and propose optimal HVAC systems based on project specifications and site conditionsPrepare detailed proposals, submittals, and performance documentation to support sales effortsDeliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers, contractors, and consultantsProvide pre-sale and limited post-sale support, including product guidance and troubleshootingAssist with pricing, quoting, and ensuring accurate product configurationsPartner with engineering and product teams to develop custom solutions when neededMaintain accurate records of customer interactions, proposals, and feedbackStay current on industry trends, codes, and emerging HVAC technologiesSkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field1–3 years of experience in HVAC applications, technical sales, or sales supportStrong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and commercial/industrial applicationsFamiliarity with HVAC design principles, building specifications, and relevant standards (ASHRAE, AHRI, etc.)Proficiency with HVAC selection/software tools and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionallyStrong problem-solving skills and ability to develop effective, customer-focused solutionsHighly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience in HVAC manufacturing or working with sales/distribution channels is a plusCompany OverviewAmbient unites top HVAC teams, renowned for dedication and industry excellence, ensuring solutions for diverse spaces.
