[Remote] In-Home Therapist Intern

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Fuller Hospital is a private psychiatric facility providing behavioral health services in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The In-Home Therapist Intern will facilitate intensive family therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic interventions to improve family dynamics and support for youth under 21. Responsibilities As a paid master's level In-Home Therapist (IHT) Intern, you will be facilitating intensive in-home family therapy sessions with youth under the age of 21 and their families with the goal of improving the family’s ability to provide effective support for the youth to promote his/her healthy functioning within the family. This will include implementation of various therapeutic interventions, parent coaching, crisis intervention, psycho-ed., etc You will also have a bachelor’s level para-professional, a Therapeutic Training & Support Staff (TT&S) assigned to your cases. The TT&S will assist you with co-facilitating sessions, treatment planning, and case management. They will work with the client and/or family to practice the skills that you teach in family sessions Completion of various paperwork such as progress notes, comprehensive and CANS assessments, safety plans, treatment plans, etc Availability for crisis intervention, crisis calls, and skills coaching as needed for your clients Frequent care coordination with collateral contacts regarding treatment plan goals and progress Identify and utilize community resources; provide aftercare referrals to develop and maintain natural supports for the youth and parent or caregiver(s) in order to sustain treatment progress Skills An IHT intern must be in the final internship for their master's degree in a counseling related field (i.e.- MSW, MS or MS in counseling, psychology, M.Ed. in education with concentration in counseling, etc.) Benefits $200/ Month Student Loan Repayment Professional Development / Tuition Reimbursement - $5,000 per year Weekly supervision provided by a licensed clinician Competitive Compensation Generous Paid Time Off – 5+ weeks per year Annual Merit Raises Mileage reimbursement - $0.70 per mile Cell Phone reimbursement Company Laptop Challenging and rewarding work environment Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan 401(K) with generous company match and discounted stock plan Career development opportunities within UHS and its 300+ Subsidiaries Company Overview Fuller Hospital offers adult treatment, adolescent treatment, and child care services.
