Position Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Assistant to support a group of 5-10 clients across multiple industries. As an HR Assistant, you'll partner with our HR Managers to drive day-to-day operations, implement HR priorities, and serve as the primary HR point of contact for client employees. If you have a "can-do" attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a strong attention to detail, we want to hear from you!
Work Schedule and Expectations
This remote position offers flexibility, but also requires a high level of responsiveness and customer focus. You'll be expected to be available to clients as needed, with a typical response time of less than 2 hours. While the role involves working during standard business hours, you may occasionally need to support client needs early in the morning or evenings.
Essential Job Functions
Manage HR administration and operations for each client, including new hire onboarding, payroll processing, employee documentation, benefits administration, and more
Serve as a hands-on HR expert for clients, building partnerships and delivering value-added services
Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to take on various assignments, depending on client needs
Make informed decisions and provide counsel to management and team members to maintain a positive work environment and achieve optimal performance
Educate and advise management and team members on employment laws, HR policies, and procedures
Partner with HR Managers to resolve employee relations, corrective action, and performance issues
Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, identifying potential risks and recommending next steps
Build and maintain healthy relationships with team members and clients
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 1 year of successful HR, Payroll, or client-facing experience
Exceptional communication and consultation skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to influence leaders
Demonstrated track record of establishing relationships and earning credibility with client groups
Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
