Remote Hospice Triage Registered Nurse - Part-time with Compact and CA Licenses - Work from Home and Make a Difference in End-of-Life Care

About the Role
We're seeking a part-time Remote Hospice Triage Registered Nurse with a Compact and CA license to join our growing team. As a Hospice Triage Nurse with IntellaTriage, you'll have the opportunity to work from home, providing high-quality end-of-life care to patients in need. You'll be an extension of our clients' care team, supporting them and their patients during their non-core hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide triage services to patients in need of end-of-life care, utilizing client-customized protocols and EMRs for charting
Conduct phone assessments, make critical decisions, and provide empathetic care to patients and their families
Collaborate with clients' care teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Document patient information and treatment plans in EMRs
Participate in remote paid training and ongoing education to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Work a minimum of 1 evening shift weekly (shift times are set, with weekday flexibility) and every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday, CST)
Be available to work some holidays as required
Handle stress and multitask when receiving calls (minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays, and up to 8 per hour on weekends)
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
MUST have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license (states with pending or future implementation dates are not considered current compact states until the implementation date)
MUST live in/work from a Compact US state
MUST have an active CA RN license
Experience with end-of-life care is required
Must have high-speed internet and be tech-savvy with keyboard competence
Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a bonus
Must physically reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work for any employer
Preferred Qualifications:
Hospice, palliative, end-of-life care experience
Experience in a fast-paced environment: ED, surgical services, or critical care, etc.
Comfortable accessing multiple technology applications to document during calls
Ability and comfort with typing in a fast-paced environment

Competitive hourly rate of $23 per hour, with opportunities to increase earnings
$1 shift differential for overnights and weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
