Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Marvin Home Center is seeking a versatile and customer-oriented Home Services Technician to join their team. This full-time role involves hands-on work such as drywall, finish carpentry, and window/door installation, as well as maintenance jobs and customer service both in-store and on-site. Responsibilities Manage And Perform Small Repair, Installation, And Maintenance Jobs For Residential And Light Commercial Customers And Marvin Headquarters And Visitor Center Buildings, Including But Not Limited To Drywall patching and repair Siding ang gutter repair Basic landscaping and trimming Pressure washing and window cleaning Window installation and adjustments Finish carpentry, trim work, and custom wood projects Shelving, cabinets, countertops, doors, window coverings, weatherstripping, and other handyman tasks Provide on-site evaluations to recommend solutions and materials Deliver excellent customer service both in-store and at job sites Safely operate hand and power tools in compliance with company and safety guidelines Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent Load, transport, and unload materials for projects as needed Collaborate with store staff to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet customer expectations This person will also be on call for company-owned Warroad Real Estate properties Performing routine maintenance Seasonal checkups Emergency repairs Coordinating advanced repairs with preferred contractors and managing the needed repairs until completion Skills Proven handyman, maintenance, or construction experience Required skills: drywall repair, window and door installation, and finish carpentry Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working at various heights on ladders and in confined/small spaces when needed Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions Benefits $300 annual wellbeing account to spend on what helps you feel happy + healthy Better Living Day!
