[Remote] Healthcare Analytics Engineer I

The Healthcare Analytics Engineer I will contribute to the development and maintenance of reporting infrastructure while gaining expertise in healthcare analytics and data engineering.ResponsibilitiesSupport the design, development, and maintenance of data models for analytics and reportingAssist in documenting standard tables, data sources, and basic relationshipsContribute to data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies and helping standardize definitionsMonitor existing data pipelines and escalate issues related to stability or timelinessPartner with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting requirementsUtilize SQL, Python, and related technologies to support data transformation and automation tasksUnderstand, adhere to, and implement the Company’s policies and proceduresDemonstrate responsiveness and professionalism with internal stakeholdersTake initiative in developing technical and business knowledgeCommunicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writingDemonstrate reliability, accountability, and attention to detail in deliverablesActively seek feedback and apply learnings to improve performanceSkills1–3 years of experience working with data transformation, analytics, or ETL pipelinesFoundational proficiency in SQLWorking knowledge of Python or similar programming languageBachelor's Degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, or related field requiredAbility to understand business requirements and translate them into structured datasets with guidanceStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsClear written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsEagerness to learn new technologies and healthcare analytics conceptsAbility to document processes and maintain technical documentationFamiliarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or SQL ServerExposure to dbt or modern data transformation frameworksFoundational proficiency in VS code and BitbucketInterest in or exposure to healthcare data, particularly Medicare Advantage or value-based care modelsMaster's degree preferred but not requiredCompany OverviewAgilon Health partners with primary care physicians to define a new standard of quality, efficiency and patient experience.
