Job Title: Remote Health & Wellness Coach - Telephonic | Lifestyle & Wellness ProgramLocation: 100% Remote (U.S. Based)Job Type: Contract (Full-Time)Industry: Healthcare / Wellness / Public HealthWork Schedule:• These roles will start at part-time hours (20 hours/week) then move to full-time hours (40 hours/week) as the demand picks up.About the Role:Sigma Systems Inc. is currently hiring a Remote Health & Wellness Coach to support a wellness initiative focused on helping members lead healthier lives. This role involves telephonic coaching, reviewing biometric screening results, and guiding members through personalized care plans related to nutrition, weight management, stress, sleep, exercise, and tobacco cessation.We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, a passion for wellness, and experience in motivational interviewing or health coaching. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy making a meaningful impact through lifestyle behavior change.Key Responsibilities: Conduct scheduled coaching calls with members enrolled in a wellness program Use motivational interviewing techniques and active listening to guide members toward health goals Discuss biometric screening results and co-create personalized care plans Coach members in areas such as nutrition, physical activity, sleep, weight management, stress reduction, and tobacco cessation Document all interactions accurately and adhere to business process requirements Collaborate with case managers and other internal teams to support overall member health Assist members in navigating healthcare resources and overcoming barriers to healthy living Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented virtual environmentRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a health-related field (e.g., health education, public health, nutrition, exercise science) 2+ years of experience in health coaching, wellness program management, or related role Experience conducting telephonic coaching sessions Working knowledge of behavior change models, such as Prochaska's Transtheoretical Model Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Teams and standard computer applications Able to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred (Not Required): Master's degree in health-related field Certifications such as: Certified Health & Wellness Coach (CHWC) Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) Certified Tobacco Cessation Specialist (CTTS) Registered Dietitian Exercise Physiology Certification National Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach Why Join Us? 100% remote work - flexible and mission-driven Help real people make long-term lifestyle improvements Collaborate with a compassionate, high-performing virtual care team Make a lasting impact in public health and preventive careHow to Apply:Ready to inspire positive health change?
