Remote Fullstack React/Node Developer
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Remote Fullstack React/Node Developer for a contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare Services clients in Jacksonville, FL. (Position will remain fully remote)
Responsibilities :
ā¢ Working in our Member Portal (Digital + Marketing). Candidate will be working on development, enhancements, handling production issues, etc. as needed. Working on enhancements and new capabilities will be primary duties in this Developer role.
ā¢ We operate in a Scaled Agile environment (various teams with a total of about 50-60). This specific team consists of about 15 people.
ā¢ Responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions using ReactJS, Redux, D3 and NodeJS to enable firm's Customer Experience applications.
ā¢ Responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products.
ā¢ Responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.
ā¢ Lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.
Required Skills:
ā¢ Related Bachelor's degree or related work experience
ā¢ 5+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
ā¢ Front end web-based application development experience required
ā¢ Must have Full-Stack development experience using React/Node; (must have a good balance of both)
ā¢ Solid knowledge of React and Redux principals and build out
ā¢ Strong external communication skills required
ā¢ Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
ā¢ Proficiency using MERN and MEAN Scaffolding tools
ā¢ Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
ā¢ Flexible team player
ā¢ Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
ā¢ Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
ā¢ Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills
ā¢ Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
ā¢ Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Preferred Skills:
ā¢ Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etc.
ā¢ Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology
ā¢ Experience with mobile design (native and mobile web) a plus
ā¢ Experience with Foundation a plus
ā¢ Experience with web accessibility guidelines and requirements a plus
ā¢ Supporting Mobile applications nice to have
