VocoVisionis committed to providing high-quality, accessible education to all students, including those learning English as a second language. We are seeking a dedicated Virtual ELL Teacher to support our diverse student population in a remote learning environment.
Position Overview
The ELL Teacher will be responsible forworking with students who are non-native English speakers, helping them develop their language skills through engaging online lessons and activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with virtual teaching and a passion for supporting language acquisition in a culturally responsive manner. This position is full-time and includes a caseload of K-12th, but focuses on 4-12. Zoom and Google Meets can be utilized for this assignment.
Qualifications:
Bachelors... degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or a similar qualification.
Experience teaching ELL students, preferably in a virtual setting.
Proficient in using technology and online teaching platforms.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse learners.
Knowledge of New Hampshires educational standards and guidelines for ELL instruction is a plus.

Applicants must be comfortable working as an Independent Contractor
Candidates will be required to pass a tech screening ensuring Wi-Fi, download speeds, and Zoom capabilities are proficient
Contractors must obtain professional liability insurancebefore the beginning of assignment
