Work Schedule First Shift (Days) Environmental Conditions Office Director, HR Compliance Audits Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is currently hiring a highly motivated and experienced Director of HR Compliance Audits to join our Culture and Counsel platform. Role locations can include Raleigh, NC and Pittsburgh, PA. Joining our team provides an opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the success of our HR programs, maintaining legal compliance, and reducing employment law risks. Key Responsibilities: • Establish and implement HR Compliance auditing and assessments, delivering outcomes of multiple compliance-related projects. • Lead and conduct regular and comprehensive audits of HR procedures, policies, and high-risk employment law practices to identify and mitigate potential risks. • Collaborate with legal and HR teams to recommend, develop, and implement corrective actions to address identified risks. • Prepare and maintain accurate compliance reports, documentation, and records to meet internal and external reporting requirements. • Track and provide updates on compliance metrics, program effectiveness, and progress to senior management. • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. • Design and deliver strategies to ensure alignment with labor and employment requirements, standards, laws, and company objectives. • Enhance HR effectiveness and efficiency through the development and implementation of strategic approaches. • Minimum Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in human resources, employment law, or a related field. • 5 years of experience in HR compliance. • Demonstrated experience collaborating with teams from diverse functions and geographical locations. • Strong analytical abilities: adept at handling substantial data, deriving insights, developing recommendations, and effectively communicating findings to individuals across the organization. • Extensive experience conducting and managing workplace and HR audits. • Proven track record of successfully collaborating with various teams within the organization, such as legal advisors, HR professionals, and other department heads. • Proficient in task prioritization and adept at managing various responsibilities simultaneously, while effectively utilizing the team's skills and capacities to achieve timely outcomes. • Ability to handle highly sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and professionalism. • Knowledge of labor and employment laws. • Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
