Position: Part-time DHH Teacher
Pay Rate: $50 per hour
Hours: 4 hours per month
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) teacher to work remotely with elementary school students within our school district. If you have a passion for making a difference in children's lives and are licensed to teach in Indiana, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote instruction and support to elementary school students with hearing impairments
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure students' needs are met
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track students' progress
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain a flexible and adaptive teaching approach to meet diverse learning needs
Requirements:
- Valid DHH teaching license in the state of Indiana
- Experience working with elementary school students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with remote teaching tools and technology
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
