Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven Data Analyst to become an integral part of our innovative AI & Threat Analytics team. This fully remote position offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule for candidates in the El Dorado Hills, CA, or Chicago, IL metro areas. You will play a vital role in enhancing our autofill classification models by effectively managing, optimizing, and analyzing diverse datasets.

Key Responsibilities
Ā• Manage the complete lifecycle of data acquisition, cleansing, and processing for HTML-based datasets tailored for machine learning initiatives.
Ā• Utilize web analysis tools to extract and structure data from DOM environments, ensuring robust model training and validation.
Ā• Collaborate with machine learning engineers to facilitate feature engineering experiments, generating training datasets that align with model specifications.
Ā• Produce and enhance synthetic datasets using large language models (LLMs) to improve the balance and availability of training data.
Ā• Investigate data through dimensionality reduction techniques (such as t-SNE, PCA, and UMAP) to assess feature strengths and elevate dataset quality.
Ā• Automate data workflows to optimize data processing, manipulation, and transformation tasks.
Ā• Create and maintain thorough documentation for data workflows, processes, and methodologies, ensuring traceability, reproducibility, and scalability.
Ā• Develop validation and data quality systems to uphold consistency and integrity across all datasets.

Required Skills
Ā• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within a cybersecurity or machine learning-focused environment.
Ā• Expertise in Python for data manipulation, analysis (leveraging libraries such as Pandas and NumPy), and the automation of data workflows.
Ā• Strong experience with web analysis tools (e.g., Selenium, BeautifulSoup) and comprehensive knowledge of HTML and DOM structures for effective data extraction and preprocessing.
Ā• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques, including tokenization, stop word removal, and lemmatization for text data preparation.
Ā• Proven experience in generating synthetic datasets and utilizing LLMs to enhance machine learning data.
Ā• Ability to collaborate efficiently with machine learning engineers and other technical personnel.
Ā• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail in ensuring data quality and governance.
Ā• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data storage and processing.
Ā• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
