**Key Responsibilities**

As a Remote Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

* Providing excellent customer service to clients, patients, and requestors via phone calls, ensuring that arenaflex meets its high standards of service excellence.
* Meeting daily goals of 85 calls per day, averaging 11 calls per hour, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Assisting clients, patients, and requestors with the status of requests for medical records, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Ensuring notes are accurate and detailed, with all actions requiring a note in Med-Release.
* Providing prompt and accurate information to customers, building strong value-based relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction is a primary goal.
* Resending or canceling invoices, reprocessing orders for missing information, and obtaining missing information for non-compliant requests from patients and requestors.
* Performing data entry and other duties as assigned, while maintaining a high level of business integrity and diligence.
* Faxing and emailing records securely to requestors, while working with other departments to ensure requests are sent promptly.

**Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage your time effectively.
* Proficient computer skills with software applications such as Microsoft Office.
* A high school diploma or GED, with a strong passion for customer interaction and a desire to build strong relationships with customers.
* Previous medical records experience, knowledge of HIPAA, and 1+ year of customer service/call center experience are preferred but not required.

**Schedule**

As a remote customer service specialist, you'll work a standard 8-hour shift between 8:00am-6:00pm CST, Monday to Friday. We're flexible and willing to accommodate your needs, as long as you're able to meet the required hours and deadlines.
