The Business Analyst II role involves conducting high-quality analysis of multi-source data to evaluate item performance and support category management initiatives.ResponsibilitiesProvide analytical analysis, insights, and recommendations for category management projects and initiatives utilizing retailer POS and syndicated dataBuild, update, and refresh weekly and monthly dashboards (weekly POS + monthly category recaps)Create and present your category presentations incorporating syndicated data and other sources of data that address business issuesWork closely with CPG Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure quality results are deliveredKeep abreast of client’s KPIs, strategies, innovation, and other important informationLeverage relationships with clients to understand key retailer deliverables, category strategies, and project timelinesSkillsMUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A POWER BI AUTHOR TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITIONBachelor's Degree1 – 3 years related experienceDemonstrate an advanced knowledge with Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BIExperience with syndicated dataIdentify and leverage relevant data to diagnose situations and identify potential solutionsEffectively and independently conduct data mining utilizing CPG math concepts and toolsClearly and concisely communicate relevant informationCategory Management Certification preferredCompany OverviewAcosta brings simplicity to retail sales.
