As a key member of the Payments and Digital Strategy team within the arenaflex Credit Union, you’ll blend customer service excellence with deep operational expertise. Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

Transaction Management: Execute daily transaction processing, including ACH, wire transfers, direct deposits, and loan disbursements with precision and speed.
Reconciliation & Balancing: Perform comprehensive statistical analysis and daily balancing to ensure ledger integrity and compliance with internal controls.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal partners, external vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other financial institutions to resolve discrepancies and facilitate seamless fund movements.
Fraud & Issue Resolution: Support multiple departments by investigating fraud alerts, responding to member inquiries, and reconciling general‑ledger entries.
Member Service Cases: Manage assigned member cases, providing timely and courteous resolutions while documenting actions in the CRM system.
Regulatory Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to NACHA regulations, Federal banking laws, and the Bank Secrecy Act, ensuring all processes meet legal standards.
Product Review & Approval: Review, verify, and approve remote deposit, mobile deposit, ATM, and other image‑enabled transactions before posting.
GL Adjustments & Corrections: Log, analyze, and make critical general‑ledger updates, corrections, or reversals as required.
Stop Pay & Check Batching: Process stop‑pay requests and batch checks efficiently, minimizing turnaround time.
End‑of‑Day Close: Complete daily processing, ensure departmental closing procedures are followed, and prepare reports for senior management.
Data Accuracy & Research: Gather required information from customers to ensure accurate processing of domestic and international fund transfer requests, and verify data against external sources.
Operational Improvements: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, recommend best practices, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.


Essential Qualifications – What You Must Bring

High school diploma or GED (associate’s degree preferred).
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and reports.
Demonstrated ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data accurately.
Strong customer service orientation and experience handling member or client inquiries.
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision while meeting strict deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail, with a track record of maintaining high accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
Commitment to upholding confidentiality and security of all financial data, including adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Willingness to pass arenaflex‑specific pre‑employment compliance examinations.

Advanced knowledge of federal banking regulations, including NACHA Operating Rules and the Uniform Commercial Code.
Certification in financial services (e.g., CCA, AFCU) or ongoing coursework toward such credentials.
