The Customer Service Assistant role involves assisting clients via phone calls and emails, performing administrative and data entry tasks to support current and potential clients.ResponsibilitiesTake client phone calls and communicate policy change requests to Team MembersIssuing Certificates of insurance for our clientsInputting potential business in our core C1 system as well as various online platformsCreating of policy files in Image Right SystemDaily / weekly filing of correspondence to Image Right SystemProcess client payments in C1 system, assisting with payments made to Liberty Premium finance via the PBS billing systemManage policy receipt policy, reviews policies for accuracy and emailed or mailed to retail CustomersWorks effectively on the assigned teamSystem/Software Skills – Must learn all systems and stay current with changes and updatesConduct limited research when necessarySuccessfully completes basic job specific training as defined in the Policy Services Training Matrix within the first three months of employmentContinually maintains 98% or above qualityContinually maintains 85-115% metric score with 80-100% time on taskMaintains an 80% or above customer service scoreAbility to interact with others in a professional mannerSkillsHigh School DiplomaProficient in Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power PointAfter one year of employment, take required courses and pass state exam to receive California Property and Casualty LicenseProfessional demeanor, customer service skills and problem-solving abilitiesAble to understand and carry out instructionsDetail orientedFlexible and able to multi-task assignmentsPrior experience in customer service, data entry, administrative and/or clerical roleCompany OverviewAF Group is a nationally recognized holding company whose affiliated insurance companies are premier providers of specialty insurance solutions offered through independent agents nationwide.
