Key Responsibilities
Ā Deliver core subject instruction to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a fully remote virtual classroom.
Ā Maintain a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, with an approximate commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Ā Begin immediately, with the position continuing until the end of the 2024-2025 academic year, with a strong potential for renewal in the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications
Ā A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Ā A valid West Virginia Teaching Certification or eligibility for certification is essential.
Ā Demonstrated experience in teaching general education within a K-12 framework. Experience in virtual teaching is advantageous.
Ā Must be able to secure professional liability insurance upon receiving an offer.
Ā Familiarity with virtual learning platforms such as Zoom or Google Classroom is necessary.
Ā Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Ā Ability to foster positive relationships with students and cultivate a dynamic virtual classroom atmosphere.
