[Remote] Cloud Operations Developer

They are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Operations Developer to support and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure: Ensure high availability, performance and security of cloud-based services and applicationsIncident Response & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve cloud-related incidents, working closely with senior engineers to address issues efficientlyAutomation & Scripting: Assist in automating repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages like Python, BashSystem & Network Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK APM to track system health and performanceSecurity & Compliance: Follow best practices to ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standardsDeployment & Configuration Management: Support deployments using CI/CD like AnsibleCollaboration & Documentation: Work with engineering teams to optimize cloud resources and maintain detailed documentation for operational processesSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)1+ years of experience in cloud operationsBasic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environmentsUnderstanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, load balancing, firewalls)Experience with scripting (Python or Bash) is a plusExposure to monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus or ELK stackStrong communication and collaboration skillsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsBenefitsAnnual bonusesShort- and program-specific awards depending on the roleComprehensive benefit offeringCompany OverviewCornerstone OnDemand offers talent management software that helps organizations in recruiting, training, and managing their people.
