Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily financial operations utilizing QuickBooks Online.
Manage transactional accounting functions, including account reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
Process operational and program-related invoices, ensuring precise expense documentation and timely check requests.
Develop ad-hoc reports in Microsoft Excel to streamline the evaluation of expenses, grants, and contracts.
Submit invoices as required, guaranteeing timely payments and meticulous record maintenance.
Carry out data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and current customer information.
Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure precise financial reporting.
Facilitate smooth month-end close operations.
Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required.
Address customer inquiries promptly, delivering outstanding customer service.
Required Skills
Proficient in account reconciliation.
Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes.
Expertise in bookkeeping methodologies.
Strong data entry skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with month-end closing procedures.
Knowledge of QuickBooks software; familiarity with QuickBooks Online is highly preferred.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in finance or accounting is advantageous.
Previous experience in bookkeeping or a related area is preferred.
