• 1-3 years of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience (required)
• 1-3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, ideally with small businesses
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (a must)
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
• Strong confidentiality practices regarding client and company information
Responsibilities
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards by matching transactions with statements
• Manage a portfolio of 10-20 clients, assisting with accounts payable/receivable, billing, and tracking expenses
• Help clients with payroll, tax filings, and sales tax collection
• Maintain accurate spreadsheets and records of financial transactions
• Submit detailed daily reports to your supervisor and track time per client
• Resolve any issues within QuickBooks Online and discrepancies
• Assist with loans, budgeting, and other ad-hoc financial tasks as needed
Qualifications
• Must have strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage client accounts efficiently
Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
