[Remote] Blue Yonder (JDA) Technical Support Consultants

As a Blue Yonder Technical Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality work products on client engagements, supporting internal colleagues, performing research, and managing day-to-day meetings. Responsibilities • Spinnaker SCA’s Blue Yonder Technical Consultant role serves as a subject matter expert in implementing a BLUE YONDER system along with the associated inbound and outbound interfaces • Blue Yonder Technical Consultants will leverage Spinnaker’s 5 lenses method of People-Process-Technology-Policy-Metrics to deliver comprehensive support solution • This includes creating new custom scripts to add incremental enhancements and modifying parameters to improve system performance • Plus, leverage the system development life cycle (SDLC) to deploy custom code and software patches • Support existing BLUE YONDER system by executing the following duties: • Check to ensure no critical errors occurred in the batch • Send pro-active emails communicating status if a critical issue was encountered • Build batch performance and data volume reports • Analyze logs and trending information to predict future problems that can be addressed before affecting the business • Conduct regular meeting to walk through system issues, enhancements and system performance reports with the business and technical leadership • Develop, test and implement new code enhancements • Work with scheduling team to make batch schedule changes • Generate ideas for increased technical system efficiency and opportunities for improved business processes • Support knowledge share amongst the Spinnaker consulting community by providing direct support to internal colleagues with pertinent questions, or through the development of collateral that can be shared within the group • Use personal know-how and critical experience to help clients to determine the optimal path for key supply chain process related decisions • Guide clients in best practices and be knowledgeable and self-directed in educating themselves on leading practice Skills • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required. Equivalent experience includes a proven track record of skills, professional accomplishments, or training related to the role • Experience leading a team of a three or more through an entire implementation project through the full software development process one time • 8+ years experience with PL/SQL and Unix Shell scripting development • 8+ years experience in consulting experience in the BLUE YONDER advanced planning system. (Preferably 8.2x or higher) • Should have experience in one or more of the following BLUE YONDER modules: Demand, Fulfillment, Collaborate, PSO/Strategy, Master Planning, Sequencing, Reporting • Should fully understand BLUE YONDER application system concepts, such as SRE, Webworks Foundation schema, clustering and IGP • Oracle Database Administrator, PMP, APICS, Six Sigma, ACPF or similar industry certifications are a plus Company Overview • Spinnaker SCA is not like other supply chain consulting firms.
