They are seeking a Billing & Coding Instructor responsible for delivering lessons, preparing course materials, and mentoring students in the field of medical billing and coding. Responsibilities • Deliver engaging and effective lessons on Medical Billing & Coding • Prepare course materials • Assess students' progress • Mentor students • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards • Ensure compliance with educational requirements • Collaborate with other educators and administrative teams to support student success Skills • Expertise in Medical Billing, Medical Coding, and understanding of industry regulations and practices • Experience in teaching or mentoring, along with strong classroom management and public speaking skills • Ability to design and deliver course materials, assessments, and hands-on learning activities • Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills • Commitment to staying current with developments in the medical billing and coding field • Bachelor's degree in a related field and coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCA, CCS, or equivalent) • Teaching certification is a plus • Experience in teaching or training in a medical or academic setting is preferred but not required Company Overview • We offer short, affordable online programs in Medical Assisting and Medical Billing & Coding.
