Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Resolve variance/denials using critical thinking, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities
Apply knowledge of carrier policies, direct contracts, subscriber benefits, non-covered services, coding, diagnosis issues, and accounts receivable
Maintain thorough knowledge of Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, protocols, and processes
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a medical business office, healthcare, pharmaceutical setting, or comparable experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required for certain positions
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
