Job Summary:
We're looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our remote team, providing top-notch support to our customers in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC. As a bilingual representative, you'll be fluent in Spanish and English, with a strong ability to communicate complex healthcare information in a clear and concise manner. You'll be responsible for answering inbound inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and manage inbound inquiries regarding health plan benefits, claims, eligibility, and other healthcare-related topics
Conduct outbound and return calls to customers as necessary, providing timely and effective support
Ask appropriate questions, listen actively, and provide personalized support to customers, documenting relevant information in our computer systems
Communicate and partner with customers tactfully and empathetically, resolving issues and applying conflict management skills as needed
Meet performance goals in efficiency, accuracy, quality, member satisfaction, and attendance, adhering to all applicable policies and procedures
Requirements:
Must reside in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC
Must be bilingual in Spanish and English (validated via bilingual assessment upon offer acceptance)
At least 1 year of call center experience required
Ability to handle a heavy call volume of 50-100 calls daily
Demonstrated ability to use computer and Windows PC applications, with strong keyboard and navigation skills
Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
