Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from travelers worldwide regarding applications handled by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) associated with re-entries, visa renewals, and travel/immigration matters.
Interact with customers via phone and email, delivering precise and timely information based on approved response materials.
Effectively manage multiple inquiries in a single email, utilizing government-approved templates for responses.
Accurately input information into the Customer Database, ensuring correct grammar, spelling, and appropriate categorization of contact subjects and resolutions.
Escalate any reportable communication to the relevant department as necessary.
Provide clarification on policies and procedures for travelers, offering useful information on general travel assistance and DHS claims filing.
Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support both the team and our customers.

Required Skills

Strong familiarity with web-based applications.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Technical proficiency and the ability to navigate digital tools and platforms.
Capability to handle customer inquiries in a clear and professional manner.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
Must fulfill all security eligibility requirements.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
At least 2 years of customer service experience.
Aptitude for managing complex and high-pressure situations with professionalism, including effective de-escalation of challenging interactions.
