Remote - Benefit Insurance Agent (Pay $30+ an hour)

Overview We are seeking skilled Benefits Counselors to join our upcoming class. In this role, you'll guide employees through their benefits programs and available services. While counselors play a key role during open enrollment, responsibilities also extend to supporting benefits communication projects throughout the year. Start Date: September 29th End Date: November 21st (Friday before Thanksgiving) Location: Fully Remote What You'll Do • Answer employee questions on medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits. • Provide ID card assistance and help employees locate in-network providers. • Support benefit portal login/password resets. • Assist with enrollment questions. • Educate and guide employees - no selling involved. You'll also complete training on: • Client benefit programs and services. • Call center technology and processes. • Benefit administration platforms. License & Insurance Requirements Must have an active Life, Accident & Health Insurance License in California (required to be considered). Must also obtain Arizona, Iowa, Indiana, and Washington Life, Accident & Health licenses prior to starting. Must carry Errors & Omissions (E&O) Insurance before starting. Reimbursement: Costs for additional licenses and E&O insurance will be reimbursed after 2 weeks of successful employment (candidates must provide documentation). Qualifications Must-Have Skills/Experience: • Prior experience supporting open enrollment. • Active CA Life, Accident & Health License (plus AZ, IA, IN, WA before start). • E&O Insurance (required). • Strong computer skills (must pass Computer Literacy test with 80%+). • High School Diploma or GED. • 4 positions require bilingual English/Spanish skills.
