[Remote] AWS Solutions Architect (with Python/Java Development Experience)

Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TSR Consulting is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect who also possesses strong Python or Java development skills. This role will lead cloud architecture and implementation efforts on AWS while also engaging in coding, design, or hands-on engineering tasks as necessary. Responsibilities • Architect, implement, and optimize solutions on AWS in alignment with business and technical requirements. • Provide hands-on development or design work using Python or Java when needed.• Design scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures leveraging AWS best practices. • Lead the migration, modernization, or build-out of applications within AWS. • Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions are well-designed and properly implemented. • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application-level technical issues. • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans. Skills • Strong experience as an AWS Solutions Architect (designing and implementing solutions) • Hands-on development experience using either Python or Java • Solid understanding of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation/Terraform, etc.) • Experience with cloud-native application design and microservices • Familiarity with bolthires/CD, DevOps tools, and infrastructure-as-code • Ability to work across architecture, engineering, and application teams • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional) • Experience with API design, serverless architecture, or containerization • Background in security, networking, or performance optimization Company Overview • TSR is a relationship-based, customer-focused IT and technical services staffing company.It was founded in 1969, and is headquartered in Hauppauge, New York, USA, with a workforce of 501-1000 employees.
