Remote Aviation Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and diligent Aviation Operations Manager to lead their operations in a fully remote capacity. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of all flight operations, adhering strictly to regulatory requirements and company standards. You will be responsible for coordinating flight schedules, managing crew resources, overseeing ground support, and liaising with regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA), flight planning, and operational best practices. You will be adept at problem-solving and making critical decisions in dynamic operational environments. Responsibilities include developing and implementing operational policies, managing budgets, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring continuous improvement in operational efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of flight operations, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Develop and implement efficient flight schedules and resource allocation plans. Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance teams, and ground support personnel. Ensure adherence to all relevant aviation regulations and company policies. Manage operational budgets and control costs effectively. Monitor operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage certifications and compliance documentation. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all operational functions. Respond to and manage operational disruptions and emergencies. Maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in aviation operations management. In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, etc.). Experience with flight planning software and operational management systems. Strong understanding of safety management systems (SMS). Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial management and budgeting. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
