[Remote] Assistant Corporate Counsel, Contracts

The Assistant Corporate Counsel, Contracts will negotiate, draft, and support contracting for the US team across all lines of business and corporate areas, ensuring compliance with policies and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Supervise the implementation of agreements, negotiate to secure agreed objectives, and coordinate the work of all parties involved
ā¢ Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations, with a strong focus on good governance and our shared values, particularly putting clients at the heart of our business
ā¢ Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Skills
ā¢ Must be a member in good standing of a US Bar
ā¢ Minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in contract drafting and negotiation at a law firm or in-house
ā¢ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
ā¢ Skilled lawyer with strategic business acumen
ā¢ Self-directed, initiative-driven, and goal-oriented
ā¢ Excellent interpersonal skills, accustomed to working and engaging with a diverse team of people
ā¢ Strong communication skills to influence and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
ā¢ Exceptional negotiation, organization, and communication skills
ā¢ Proficient drafting skills
