The Organization and Acquirer Arrangements group (NAS) is at the heart of the American Express Enterprise, controlling billions of transactions through the global payments processing network. As a Remote Analyst - Network Technical Operations, you will be part of the Item and Partner Enablement (PPE) team, which is responsible for client onboarding, network connectivity, and verification.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive network connectivity efforts to ensure clients can successfully connect with and complete transactions on the American Express Network
Build strong relationships with internal and external clients, including merchants, processors, network guarantors, and acquirers
Manage network connectivity projects, including supporting network implementation and working with the execution of clients and arrangements in production
Represent PPE in a professional manner to all clients, both internal and external
Requirements:
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and collaborate with different business units
Knowledge of network protocols (IPs, iVPN, MPLS/Ethernet)
Excellent customer service skills
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to translate technical details to non-technical colleagues
Solid attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong desire to succeed and ability to work as part of a team
Strong work ethic with a fun and positive attitude
Fluency in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the payments industry and emerging technology
Understanding of authorization, financial, and non-financial message file formats
Familiarity with American Express payment platforms and processes
