We serve established, cross-border companies that require reliable euro settlement, treasury-grade infrastructure, and operational efficiency. As Monetum expands its focus toward mid-sized businesses (€5M–€150M turnover), we are strengthening our treasury leadership function. Position Overview The Head of Treasury will lead the development and structuring of treasury use cases across Monetum’s platform. This role bridges product, compliance, enterprise finance, and commercial teams to ensure that Monetum meets the operational and strategic requirements of CFOs and Treasury Managers. The role combines treasury expertise with infrastructure design. It is focused on defining how European finance teams structure euro and digital asset flows using Monetum’s IBAN, open banking, API, and integrated fiat-crypto capabilities. Tasks Define and standardize enterprise treasury frameworks using Monetum infrastructure Design multi-IBAN and cross-border euro flow structures Optimize SEPA and SEPA Instant settlement processes Develop best practices for batch payout automation via API Advise on banking diversification and redundancy strategies Contribute to the integration of fiat and crypto treasury workflows within a unified platform Support enterprise onboarding and complex treasury conversations Collaborate with Product to ensure infrastructure aligns with real-world treasury needs Work closely with Compliance to maintain regulatory alignment Requirements The ideal candidate will have: 7+ years of experience in treasury, finance leadership, or payments infrastructure Experience managing cross-border euro flows within European companies Strong understanding of SEPA mechanics, liquidity management, and reconciliation processes Familiarity with banking risk exposure and payment cost optimization Experience working in regulated financial or payment environments Ability to communicate effectively with CFO-level stakeholders Experience with digital assets, stablecoins, or crypto treasury exposure is considered an advantage but is not required.
