The Cigna Group is seeking an Agile Product Management Senior Advisor to support a multi-year roadmap initiative within the Alternative Networks Local Markets business team. This role requires extensive health plan product knowledge and agile delivery experience to translate business strategy into system features, while managing stakeholder engagement and product backlog prioritization. Responsibilities • Become a subject matter expert on down-market employer health plan client product needs inclusive of managed care, varying network access and traditional plan types. • Develop a deep understanding of system constraints to ensure business products work with the systems to minimize scalability inhibitors (customizations, redundancies, etc.) • Lead requirement solicitation efforts by engaging stakeholders with targeted questioning techniques to uncover true business needs. Translate these into acceptance criteria that align with strategic goals and deliver measurable value • Manage the product backlog by ensuring appropriate stakeholder alignment at each stage of the development lifecycle • Assess business value and prioritizes all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that align with strategy • Work with all stakeholders to make tradeoff decisions regarding competing priorities • Collaborates with the product owners to continuously develop and communicate the vision for the scrum teams that are key to efficient and effective development. • Collaborate cross-functionally with development team, experience groups for provider, customer (member), and client (employers) as well as marketing stakeholders • Partners with strategy leads and Epic owners to understand market trends and desired shifts in delivery approach to drive prioritization of agile delivery work. • Define the right key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the product performance • Define desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable solutions that meet customer needs and supporting development across the product life cycle • Some travel may be required (10%) Skills • Extensive health plan product knowledge • Agile delivery experience • Ability to decompose business strategy and product development components into tangible system features for development • Ability to balance customer desires with available organizational capabilities • Ability to ensure scalability and modernization of capabilities • Ability to lead requirement solicitation efforts by engaging stakeholders • Ability to translate business needs into acceptance criteria • Ability to manage the product backlog • Ability to assess business value and prioritize stories • Ability to make tradeoff decisions regarding competing priorities • Ability to collaborate with product owners and scrum teams • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with development teams and stakeholders • Ability to partner with strategy leads and Epic owners • Ability to define key performance indicators (KPIs) • Ability to define desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable solutions • Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment • Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders • Strong decision facilitation skills • Ability to lead cross-functional teams • Strong business acumen • Ability to deal with ambiguity and embrace change • Comfortable with raising questions, issues, ideas or suggestions • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and training • 5+ years of related work experience • Understanding of healthcare payment models • Knowledge of employer health plan product components • Proven experience launching healthcare products • Skilled in translating complex technical concepts into business-friendly language • Ability to leverage Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate to expert level • Ability to navigate on-screen documentation and collaboration tools • Ability to self-orient in a Train the Trainer capacity • SAFe 6.0 POPM Certification or equivalent certification Education Requirements • Bachelor's degree • Master’s Degree Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met) Company Overview • The Cigna Group is a healthcare firm that focuses on providing hospital services and innovative solutions for better health.
