We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Manager to join our Walgreens Clinical Trials team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and identifying new opportunities to expand our clinical trials business.
Job Summary:
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, developing and executing strategic account plans, and identifying new business opportunities to drive growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the clinical trials industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow existing client relationships to drive business growth and expansion
Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify new business opportunities and expand our clinical trials business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to drive business growth and deliver exceptional customer service
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including decentralized clinical trials, real-world evidence, and health economics and outcomes research
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at client organizations
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including new technologies and innovations in clinical trials
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in direct or indirect (such as clinical trials, RWE, life sciences) client or account management
Scientific, sales, or marketing background with a focus on the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and driving business growth
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of clinical trials, decentralized trials, and real-world evidence trends and developments
Experience with sales automation systems and Microsoft Office programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree or MBA
At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace
At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, or cross-functional team leadership experience
